Wouldn't you know that as soon as I started something new, my computer would die. Long story short, three power supplies later, my new Dell workstation is in and I'm reloading and configuring all my software instead of having fun. Hopefully I'll be back to normal in a week or so. The only good thing is that it's kept me inside while battling the Gulf coast allergy season which is in full swing. The tree pollen count yesterday was over 5000!!!
I am making a little time for knitting though. My goal right now is to finish the Forest Path Stole from Summer 2003 Interweave Knits. I'm on row 14. I know that doesn't sound like much, but this is a lace entrelac pattern so there are only 24 rows in all. I'm using some wonderful American Cashmere that I bought at Stitches West. Roddie drug me through the market when I was battling food poisoning and I came back with all kinds of nice stuff that I don't remember buying. I think I must have been trying to make myself feel better.

OMG! I can't believe I finally did it!
Well, I always said I would never have my own blog. But here I am falling into the abyss of learning yet another internet thing. I know just enough about computers and the internet to get myself into trouble. Luckily I live with an kindly nerd of a fellow who bails me out when I get stuck!
Don't look for a lot of posting here since I spend most of my time knitting, spinning, and WORKING (yuk!). But I'll try and post on my adventures as projects are finished, and trips are taken. And there will also be occasional picture of grandsons, since that's what grammas do.
